Our Shelter
Our shelter provides a secure environment, crisis counselling, non-judgemental support and advocacy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our main focus is to ensure both mother and her children adjust to their new surroundings and begin the process of healing.
We provide a comfortable, home-like space for families fleeing abuse. You will learn to identify safety risks and increase your knowledge and awareness of the dynamics of Family Violence.
You will have:
- A comfortable private family bedroom for you and your children.
- Food, clothing, and personal care items as needed.
- Trained Staff to effectively support you and assist you with the process of moving forward.
- Access to an outdoor space that includes a safe and secure playground for children.
Space to share with other families including:
- Living room
- Children’s playroom
- Large kitchen
- Laundry room
Computers are available for clients to access online applications and resources that include applying for financial benefits, housing rentals, government and legal forms as well as personal emails & social media.
